Petra
Ancient Petra lies in the multicoloured sandstone mountains that pararllel with Wadi Araba. East of Petra is an abundant water source called Ein Musa. In ancient times, the water from Ein Musa was brought to Petra by means of conduits and earthenware piping. Local tradition claims that Moses provided water for the children of Israel by striking a rock at Wadi Musa.
