團友感言

I like to thank God for His grace and mercy that I could go on this wonderful trip
to the Holy Land. I have thought of going for a very long time but there wasn’t
any opportunity to go. Once I have learned about this tour that was going to be
led by Pastor Francis Choi & his wife Nadia, so I decided to join up. I know for
the fact that Pastor Choi and Nadia have been leading tours to the Holy Land for
many times and they are veteran tour directors to the lands of the Bible. This was
a well organized tour with so many sites of biblical and archaeological importance
to visit, good food (three meals a day), good accommodation and the expertise and
knowledge of our tour directors, plus you are in a good company with so many fellow
Christians. Throughout our tour, our tour guides from Equip to Serve and the local
ones were so knowledgeable about the history, culture and customs of the land. They
looked after the needs of people in the tour very efficiently and professionally;
even handled very smoothly with emergencies. I would highly recommend the tours
by Equip to Serve to anyone; it would guarantee a very unforgettable tour experience.

This is a pleasant trip that you are not only step in "Holy Ground" and experience
every place that mentions in the bible, you also know lots of brothers and sisters
in different church (we also experience God' love and caring family on earth).

The trip is valuable. We learnt a lot. When we read the place in the Bible, it gives
us a solid image. For example, Jerusalem, gates in the Bible. Another example, this
morning I read the Bible Jeremiah 18:3 "So I went down to the potter's house, and
I saw him working at the wheel." I remember what is wheel and how the potter works
(we saw it in Pharaonic Village). I saw stars in the Mt Sinai. I have never seen
so many and so beautiful stars. I loved camels. In my life, this is the first time
I saw so many camels sit/rest on the Mt Sinai. Thanks for the trip.

Before this trip, no matter how many times I have read the life of Jesus, for some
reason, things just weren't connect together. Even I have software tools that allow
me to see maps and see various city virtually in 3D, I still cannot remember where
the places are. I am glad that the trip has given me an opportunity to see the places
that Jesus walked in person. Now, as I read the Bible, I can finally know where
the places are in my head and can visualize the setting. The trip also helped me
to pick out the significance of the festivals and offer me a much better understanding
on the historical and cultural background. This helps me to understand the Bible
better and as Jesus walk, I can imagine in my head as if I was there too. Thanks
again for offering us such a memorable trip.

I really enjoyed the trip. The experience is definitely unique and beneficial spiritually.
I definitely have a different perspective when reading the bible and coming across
the names of the places we visited. It puts everything to perspective.
I can’t really describe the feeling but just “closeness” with the Lord when I went
to the places that Jesus has once been to. Just seeing everything from the path
he walked on, the thorns that were once on His head, and the location where he was
nailed on the cross and tortured by the soldiers made it really realistic to me.
As for enjoying God’s creation, I really loved the camel ride and the climb up Mt.
Sinai. Just seeing the sky and stars so close was amazing. I was able to use the
1 hour camel ride to put everything aside and fellowship with the Lord.
Another location that took my breath away was Masada and seeing the Dead Sea. The
view was phenomenal.
If only I could have spent more time at each location and each place.
