Shalom, my friends. May we all live to be used by God and to glorify Him. Till we meet again, let us continue to praise Him for His love and faithfulness.

Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to go to this trip. Amen.

Another knowledgeable study tour other than sightseeing with Nadia to Turkey and Greece after our last trip to Egypt and the Holyland. Both my wife and myself enjoyed it very much. I do encourage you should participate these tours for enhancing your understanding while reading/studying the Holy Book.

Visiting the cities of the Seven Churches of Apocalypse is no doubt exhausting, yet extremely rewarding. We were amazed by the architectural ruins especially in Pergamum, Sardis, Laodicea, and Ephesus. You will never expect in a city like Pergamum, she had the first medical college, an acropolis and a lower city with all the facilities including a theatre.

For Hierapoplis, now named Pamukkale-Cotton Castle, we had good time in warm thermal springs. The surroundings is more attractive than the Yellow Stone NP in Wyoming.

Ephesus the major city of Asia Minor in the past, was immaculately built which in my mind could compare to Rome in Italy. In fact it is mostly visited by tourists in Turkey second to Istanbul.

The statue of Artemis, the theatre, Curetes Street, the library, the toilets, the statue of goddess of victory Nike........ too much to see.

Followed the path of St. Paul, we visited Patmos where St. John wrote the book of Revelation. Then onward to Greece, Parthenon is one the most important spots for us in Athens. Corinth is similar to Ephensus, famous as the commercial city with the canal, besides the Temple of Apollo, the fountain, and stone-paved roadway.

The remains of Philippi reflected to us the competitions between the Romans and the Macedonians. We visited the museum with the tomb of Philip II. All the stuff in the burial chamber are enormously rich in marble, gold......I would say you can't find any in the Imperial Palace of 北京 or the underground palace of the first Emperor in 西安.

Istanbul with St. Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar....... vow lots to see again.

Last but not the least, Cappadocia, a place like Drumheller in Alberta, or the Arches NP in Utah is not only famous for erosion landscapes, the underground city, monasteries....

Some of our members went up the hot balloons while they had a great experience of the panoramic view of the environment which our Lord created.

Some of us went for the Turkish bath which refreshed good enough for home.

I understand lots of people have the idea of visiting ruins... columns... remains. However I believe I have taken a good trip both study tour and sightseeing. Furthermore, I do get a better picture when I take up reading the Book of Revelation.

My advice: - Go before you get regretted.

I joined Rev. Choi’s and Nadia’s OT tour back in 2008 and spent the most memorable Christmas in the Holy Land. I am so grateful that I finally had the opportunity to join Nadia’s NT Tour in May this year.

There is no better way to gain a better understanding of the bible and new insights than to personally visit the sites of the seven churches of Revelation; and go to the towns (now cities, or ruins) of Athens, Thessaloniki, Ephesus, Philippi, Corinth (just to name a few) where Apostle Paul visited during his missionary trips. In addition to these amazing sights, what made the NT tour special and unique are the bible studies, the praise and worship we had at these sites; the fellowship we enjoyed throughout the trip; and the new friendships that have been developed.

And how could one not give thanks when our group had such a wonderful leader? Nadia is no ordinary “tour leader”…but also an amazing, caring sister in Christ who serves our Lord faithfully, making sure we not only had a memorable NT tour, but also learned more about the bible and our God. Indeed we are the blessed bunch.

Basically the things that need to be said have already been written by my fellow brothers and sisters.

I have joined both the New and Old Testament tours now, and these tours have given me a 3D perspective of the bible. Travelling to each location has helped me with my bible studies as it includes history and geography.

Nadia’s hospitality has been considerate and wonderful. I now know why many brothers and sisters repeatedly joined Equip to Serve. Her explanation and guidance on this trip with respect to the bible is thrilling and not boring what-so-ever.

If chances come in the future, I will most definitely join Equip to Serve tours again. I strongly recommend that Sunday school teachers join this tour because it helps them a lot with teaching the bible.

Equip to Serve is a confidence guarantee!
